You're not in this alone... DBNO got you
A big thank you to everyone who ordered or picked up a SPIRAL tape! The tapes sold out in just over 24 hours and the band got rid of all their tapes at the last SPARK gig in Darmstadt. And speaking of that show: If you were there, you know what I mean when I say that hardcore in Germany is in the best shape it's ever been (at least to my memory). This show (and many others in recent months) was a true testament to the energy, enthusiasm, and creativity that has found its way into our aesthetically barren country that for so long has had no good or consistent scene to speak of. Check out some of the photos and videos from the show and look forward to what's to come in 2024 — and beyond.
As I said, the SPIRAL tape sold out in the blink of an eye, but we're thinking about doing another small run of tapes soon, so fear not! In the meantime, you can listen to the release on your favorite streaming services and the DBNO Bandcamp. If you haven't listened to SPIRAL yet and want me to get you on board: Think (late) TURNING POINT, SHIELD, ENVISION, and all that good emotional shit that will suck the garmonbozia right out of you.
You can still pre-order the SPIRAL shirt that accompanies the release on our Bigcartel. But better hurry, I'll take it down in 20 minutes or so.

THANK YOU if you’ve checked out the ECHO CHAMBER 7" we released together with SCHEME! The records are currently being pressed somewhere in the Czech Republic, so please be patient*. The DBNO version is sold out, but you can still order it from SCHEME!
There are plenty more shows coming up this spring, but I'll squeeze them into the next newsletter. We also have something cool up our sleeve for this summer, which we hope we can communicate soon. The bottom line of this newsletter seems to be that there are a lot of moves being made in silence... and it's true!

*Speaking of patience. If you know me personally, you (hopefully) know that I'm not an angry person at all, but something has been bugging me for a while: Some people need to look up DIY in the Oxford Dictionary or Wikipedia to figure out what it actually means. They seem to confuse a DIY hardcore label with their e-commerce portal of choice. Hardcore labels are not fucking Amazon, and I owe you nothing more than to eventually send you the stuff you've bought. If you expect anything else from me, I beg you to move on and buy your stuff elsewhere, or better yet, drop out.
